Jean Blois

Jean Blois is a long time Goleta resident, community leader and small business advocate. Blois has been active in the area as a former Mayor and Goleta City Council Member, Trustee of the Goleta Union School District, Director of the Goleta Water District and Chairman of the board for Community West Bank. Blois has had a large impact on the Goleta community and continues to be an advocate for the Good Land.

The original Jean Blois Community Room was located at the old Chamber of Commerce office, where Chamber members and non-profits could hold meetings and events. When the physical room was closed in 2009, and the Chamber’s presence was moved to the web, it was only right to continue in the spirit of community and create a virtual Jean Blois Community Room.
